The substrate is composed of sphagnum peat moss, expanded perlite and carbonised rice husk, providing a lightweight, well-aerated and moisture-retentive growing medium.

An inert, contaminant-free substrate with no added fertiliser, it is ideal for seed sowing, rooting cuttings and propagating seedlings. It can also be added to specialist growing mixes as a conditioner to improve drainage, aeration, moisture retention and root development.

How to Use

The material may become compressed during transport. Before use, simply loosen and turn the substrate until it becomes light and evenly mixed.

Natural moisture may be present in the packaging due to the characteristics of sphagnum peat moss.

No fertiliser is included, making it suitable for creating customised growing mixes according to the needs of different plants.
